PEAT is designed to be integrated into cognitive therapy programs at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to help increase autonomy and independence for veterans with cognitive challenges, including brain injury, stroke, mild cognitive impairment, PTSD, and ADHD. VA psychologists use PEAT to develop personalized reminder systems which are tightly integrated into each patients personalized cognitive therapy plan.
